G1 Combiner/Gestalt Teams!

Hey folks,

I've updated the collection recently with quite a few new hauls . but since I consider these quite special I thought I would start something different instead of posting them on the latest haul thread. Also, I took some time last weekend to make a backdrop for these buy so I hope you enjoy the pictures.

so heres my latest project, i am going to introduce 1 new combiner to my collection every day for this week. Hopefully will be done before Raya hehe! I am going to start this thread with a blast.

Lets say go!!!!!

DAY 1

1. COMPUTRON - calculating, calculating.....
SUBGROUP-Technobots
"Thorough data analysis is essential for the synthesis of successful strategy"



Trivia:-
Computron is one of the few combiners with only one consistent combination. This is due to several of the smaller Technobots being different sizes when forming a leg or arm. Lightspeed and Nosecone are consistently the left and/or right legs, and Afterburner and Strafe are consistently the right and left arms. As Computron, the team's group dynamic allows them to create a super-intelligent gestalt whose mind and thought processes have been compared to "500 supercomputers". However, due to the various differences in viewpoint and procedure of the five Technobots, Computron can often take a long time to reach a conclusion, sometimes too late to put it to use.


2. SUPERION - Superior!
SUBGROUP - Arielbots
"To live is to fight, to die is to stop"



Trivia:-
Superion has two simple goals that dominate his every action: one, to destroy the Decepticons and two, to protect others. His thoughts are a combination of all five Aerialbots distilled to their respective cores, with anything not relating to his primary function being suppressed.

Because of his single-minded attitude, the other Autobots find Superion to be distant and unfeeling. In reality, he acts this way because he cares so much about his mission that he is willing to sacrifice everything else for it.The seams where the five Aerialbots merge are Superion's primary physical weaknesses, while his stripped-down thought process makes it difficult for him to think creatively or adapt during combat.

Superion utilizes combiner technology to merge all five Aerialbots' bodies and minds into a single super-robot. He is able to fly at speeds of 800 miles per hour for a distance of 5,800 miles. Immensely strong, a single blow from his fist can crush a full-size battleship. He carries Silverbolt's electrostatic discharger rifle, which emits blasts of 150,000 volts of electricity. He is resistant to most Earth and Cybertronian artillery.



3. DEFENSOR!
SUBGROUP - Protectorbots



Trivia-
The Protectorbots were the only combiner team from the pre-movie episodes that were not given an origin story. They were the only group of Autobots to have a base away from the Ark, they resided in a converted building in a nearby city. Throughout the second and third season, the Protectobots were utilized mainly for assisting human civilians during battles or crisis caused by the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. However, they often were engaged in battle as well both on Cybertron and Earth.

The Protectobot who made the biggest impact on the series was without a doubt their medic, First Aid. It was apparent that he took over the duties as chief medical officer for the Autobots after the death of Ratchet during the movie

WOW.. cool combiner. I only got Superion so far. Its kinna hard to complete those vintage G1, especially combiner. Pricey also.

Btw, anyone know who this head belong to?

Let me be honest, I don't even remember to have them! The head i found it few month ago as i was clearing my storeroom, when i get started on TF collection. And the two unit, so far only found this, last weekend wen i was clearing more space for upcoming "minicon".

It got good market value?
