Yo Mr Alt...chill..i am well aware of your abhorrence of toy shops as opposed to department stores and TRU... ... But the fact is..most collectors r not willing to take the chance... otherwise, they pay the price with scalpers.. n besides, there r certain shops out there who do not sell above ori retail price... everywhere goreng.. yet my supplier still sell me at retail :P

Heheheh as i said.. i am well aware of ur abhorrence for the shops..so no need for u to snap at the shops any chance u get LOL

Erm.. we r talking about TF n not SW.. hehehe SW have a far smaller fan base here in KL... SW stuff don't fly off shelf as they come.. but TF do...given that bcoz of the demands.. Hasblow tends to over compensate...but they have completely underestimate the TF Movie buzz... and besides... i think we r aware of your abhorrence for toy shops.. so no need to pounce on it every chance u get

It doesn't matter whether is SW or TF, movie stuff are always like that once the hype dies down the sales are going to slow down or sometimes become a shelf warmer. In fact few weeks ago i saw one CCBB08 hanging on Jusco shelfs along with Recon Barricade,G1 movie Jazz and so on.

In fact before the movie premier some toys like Movie SS, Ratchet, Jazz and so on are a shelf warmer but after the movie debut they are selling like hot cakes. Heck even voyager Megs is a shelf warmer in Glitters.

Another scenario is TFU combiners i remember last year they don't sell out so fast but when Hasbro release it this year they particularly fly off the shelf and i saw one fella goreng TFU Barricade for RM180.

It's not abhorence here but i get irritated about people over hyping a brand.
