In fact, was just about to ask, if there's any charity events that we do here? Even once a year pun i can accept one. My preference is "underprivileged kids", which may include abused ones, orphaned ones, or abandoned ones.

Those who can't donate time r welcome to donate cash n toys heheh.. obviously this takes money to make it work but it need not be extravagant..it's our first.. we learn from it n make it more professional as we go... Obvious as well would be the need for a flat fee for the event. covering food n venue cost.

First thing first...

1. Determine the committee needed; F&B, Accommodation/venue, games/activities/souvenirs etc
2. Select the members for each committee

Based on my experience holding an event (i did organize an event in Berjaya Tioman Resort in 2009), if these 2 things are not being addressed, then it will just be an idea without any movement.

i would suggest:

1. All the mods discuss this matter to get commitment
2. After getting the commitment from all the mod, an official proposal to be proposed
3. Set up a committee
4. And select committee members

Hehehe just got a SMS from Opmegs.. i suppose the text"Count me in" means he's interested to be in the comity heheh.. DONE!!! Same goes for Billyboy. I'm assuming Sudin is in too??

Anyhow.. I need all interested members to submit their names to me so i can set up the comity members. After that we will go into details of the gathering....

But Billyboy, it's best to do it for our members first.. extending invite to other TF forum members can be done at a later stage hehehe... bcoz it can be misconstrude as us wanting to curi members LOL
